Data Deletion
You can ask us to delete the personal data associated with your GatemanAI account at any time. This page explains how to make the request and what happens when you do.
How to request deletion
Email aaademiluyi99@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject line “Data deletion request.” So we can verify and locate your data, please include:
- The email address and business name on your account;
- The WhatsApp number registered to receive alerts.
We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity before we act on the request.
What we delete
When we process a verified deletion request, we remove the data tied to your account, including:
- Your account and profile details (name, business name, email, WhatsApp number, time zone);
- Captured entrance images and event records;
- Your messages, AI-generated descriptions, and any standing rules (“watches”) you set;
- Associated device tokens, which stops the on-site device from reporting.
The on-site device keeps only a short local audit log, which is automatically deleted after 7 days in the normal course of operation.
Timing
We will action a verified request within 30 days and confirm by email when it is complete. We may retain a limited amount of data where the law requires us to keep it, and back-up copies are purged on our regular back-up cycle.
If you were captured at an entrance
GatemanAI is operated by the owner of the monitored location, who controls that deployment. If you believe you were captured by a GatemanAI camera and want your data removed, email us with any details you have (the location and approximate time) and we will route your request to the relevant operator and assist where we can.
